From 2025, we are offering a 2 Year Graduate Trading Programme in London, Gibraltar, Las Palmas and Copenhagen in partnership with the Danish Shipping Academy.
In the Graduate Trading Programme, you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of it all – working with some of the most dynamic, diverse and high performing teams around.

About the Programme

Starting in mid-August 2025, graduates will learn the fundamentals of working at Peninsula and Bunkering basics before rotating across Risk Management Sales, Supply, Claims and Sales Trading all whilst gaining on-desk experience.
The programme will equip graduates with the key skills required to become a well-rounded trader along with a professional qualification.
There may also be the opportunity to complete up to 3 x 6 week placements across our other commercial locations worldwide, providing a 360 understanding of Peninsula and how we operate in the context of the wider industry.
Professional Qualification
Alongside the direct industry experience, graduates will receive an official diploma with recognised qualifications from the Danish Shipping Academy.
Studies for the Danish Shipping Education will begin in September 2025 and include a combination of in-person and online modules. The scheme is geared towards trainees from bunker or shipping companies and combines theoretical and practical learning to provide a solid understanding of the field.
As part of the education, you have the opportunity to build strong network relations with other international trainees enabling you to fully immerse yourself in the market from day one.

Criteria to Apply
We are looking for curious, confident and driven graduates with a strong interest in maritime and trading. You must be willing to learn and take responsibility, and in return we can offer you the chance to kickstart your career.
Minimum criteria:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree completed in the last 2 years
- Professional level of English
- EU/SCHENGEN or British Passport
- A strong appetite to join the Maritime industry and be at the forefront of sustainable marine fuels
