Conventional marine fuels remain the primary source of propulsion and auxiliary power for the global fleet. Peninsula supplies the core conventional fuel grades used across commercial shipping, supporting day-to-day operations under current regulatory frameworks.
Our fuels
Peninsula supplies conventional fuel grades in line with ISO 8217 specifications, including:

Marine gasoil (MGO / DMA)
Distillate grades used for propulsion, auxiliary engines and changeover operations

Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO)
Residual fuel compliant with IMO 2020 sulphur limits

High Sulphur Fuel Oil (HSFO)
Residual fuel for vessels operating outside emission control areas or fitted with exhaust gas cleaning systems

Supply and delivery
Conventional fuels are supplied through a combination of physical delivery and back-to-back supply. In physical supply ports, Peninsula controls sourcing, storage, blending and delivery directly. Back-to-back supply is managed through approved counterparties operating to Peninsula’s commercial and quality standards.
Legal and compliance
Conventional fuels are supplied in line with ISO 8217 specifications and supported by delivery documentation and test certification. Quality is managed through defined sourcing, handling and verification processes, with clear accountability for specification and quantity at the point of supply.
