About our Africa operations
Peninsula has a strong presence across Africa, supported by a strategic network of physical supply operations and regional partnerships designed to serve some of the continent’s busiest shipping corridors.
In 2026, following the award of a licence by the Mauritanian National Hydrocarbons Commission, Peninsula commenced physical supply operations in Mauritania. Operating in both Nouadhibou and Nouakchott, delivering Fuel Oil and 0.1% Gasoil in line with ISO 8217:2022 specifications.
Peninsula’s expansion into Algoa Bay, South Africa, in 2025, delivered in partnership with local specialist Linsen Nambi, established a major bunkering hub. The operation supplies HSFO and VLSFO, with offshore bunkering capabilities that help reduce vessel delays and lower operational costs.
This growth builds on Peninsula’s established operations in Mauritius, creating strong operational synergies that enhance supply reliability across the Indian Ocean and along African coastal routes.
