It’s afloat!

Peninsula and Scale Gas (Enagás) announced a Joint Venture in June 2021 to construct a 12,500-cbm LNG Bunker Vessel.

Earlier this week the joint project hit an important milestone as the Levante LNG was launched by South Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard. Whilst there is still much work to do before she is considered fully operational, it is exciting to see the project move closer to successful completion.

The vessel will be exclusively operated by Peninsula for an initial period of seven years.

Post-delivery, which is expected in Summer 2023, the Levante LNG will operate along the Strait of Gibraltar and Spanish Mediterranean ports.
